Came here on a weekend to grab some banh mi to-go. By the time I went, there were already a lot of people in line ordering. The lines do move fast though. I got the #2 combo banh mi and decided to get some fresh spring roll as well. The store was small but had a lot of foods displayed on metal counters to grab and go. Don't be like me who came on an empty stomach and bought whatever looks good. Overall, the banh mi sandwich was okay with a fair price of $5.50. They stuffed a lot of meats in the sandwich, which gave you your money's worth. However, the bread was just okay. Wish it was a bit crunchier. I did noticed they had a lot of breads already bagged on a rack, with a plastic bag covered over it. Maybe that's why the bread lost its crispiness. The location is at the sketchy part of chinatown where most of the homeless reside, so be careful when walking by yourself. There's a parking lot on the side of the building for peace of mind. I might stop by here again if I want something quick to grab and go.

I was on a Road trip in Seattle Craved for Banh mi and found Saigon Deli. Much to my delight, I ended up spending $143 worth of ToGo Food. I pretty much got everything from Banh mi, to hot foods, and desserts. Although it's located in a sketchy area of downtown Seattle, the Food offerings is worth the shot....Just remember to have someone be on the lookout for abnormal activities around you & the parking lot. Next time I come back to Sammanmish, this will be my Go to for Viet food.

I don't know why it took me so long to try this place, but I'm glad I finally went today! Their pricing is reasonable and portions are generous. I tried their banh mi, pork and shrimp summer rolls, and spring roll. They were all made fresh and service was quick and friendly. They also have a wide selection of other Vietnamese foods, drinks, and snacks and I am excited to go back soon to try more. There is a parking lot too so that's a plus!

Delicious food, great prices, relatively quick, and parking available in a lot right next to the deli. This is a take out deli. Order and pickup at the counter. When it gets busy and crowded, the line management is wild and can be difficult to tell where the end of the line is. Lots of food options such as fresh, made to order banh mi, hot food items with rice, meatballs on a skewer, egg rolls, and a large variety of already prepared spring rolls, banh cuon, and desserts spread out on tables. Ordered the following: #3 banh mi dac diet - comes with 3 kinds of meat +BBQ ham. The sandwich was delicious and flavorful. The meats were abundant, veggies were fresh and crunchy, and the bread was light, flaky, and had a nice crunch. Spring rolls with shrimp, pork, chives and mint - fresh and delicious, the mint was a nice touch Banh cuon - filling had ground pork and woodear, fresh and delicious. One of my favorite places to get Vietnamese food in Seattle!

5/5 Vietnamese sandwiches. We got the #2- traditional ham and #5 - tofu veggie. The tofu was lemongrass seasoned and very good! The bread was good and soft. We ate it 3 hrs after we ordered it and it was still very good. I ate my whole sandwich. Imagine if we ate it right away when that bread was warm and toasty! We got the viet coffee. It was good and strong! Location in the international district was rough and super sketchy w/ lots of homeless. We walked there from Chinatown. Don't do it. The walk made me lose my appetite. So close your eyes if you decide to walk there. If I was by myself or other women, I wouldn't have done that walk. Once we left the area... the sandwich became magic.

Great price. I call ahead and usually order 3 # 6s. That's the different ham one. Sometimes I get the #1 the grilled pork. I once accidentally got 3 tofu ones (#5) and still ate it because it was that good. Love the deli entrees too like the chicken with mushroom and egg with pork. Desserts are a must to. I wish they were open on WEDNESDAYS lol. I keep trying to go on Wednesdays but I forget they are closed.

Wow!! So lucky to get in just before closing time today. The pandan honeycomb cake was SO nice! Lovely crispy fresh banh mi and generous scoop of tofu w assorted veg. They have won another customer!

Food: 8.5/10 Saigon Deli offers some seriously tasty eats. The Pandan Butter Mochi was a standout--soft, chewy, and just the right amount of sweet with that delicious pandan flavor. The Banh Mi is a steal at $5-6, though it's on the simpler side. I tried the Grilled Pork Banh Mi; while it wasn't packed full and far from the best I've had, the low price definitely makes up for it. The Rice Crepe with Meat was also really good, especially since I got it fresh out of the kitchen, still warm and super satisfying. I also tried the Egg Shrimp circular Fritter thing--it was still a bit crispy even though it had cooled down, but the sweetness was unexpected. It was decent, but I probably wouldn't order it again. Service: 7/10 Service here is quick, even when it's crowded, which is a big plus. The setup can be a bit chaotic--there's no clear line, so you have to be a bit assertive when it's your turn to order or pay. Just a heads-up, they charge a fee if you don't pay in cash. One thing that was a little disappointing was not getting an itemized receipt, so I wasn't sure exactly how much each item cost, especially since I grabbed a bunch of stuff. Ambiance: 8/10 Walking into Saigon Deli feels like stepping into an authentic Vietnamese spot. There's no seating, but that just adds to the charm--it's more of a grab-and-go experience. The vibe is busy and lively, which is fun, but you'll need to stay on top of things to make sure your order gets in. Overall, Saigon Deli is a great place for some tasty, authentic Vietnamese food at awesome prices. It's a bit chaotic, but that's part of the fun, and the food makes it all worth it.

Went on a hike with my dad later this day so we decided to get banh mis on the way as my dad was visiting and we are Vietnamese. My dad was very happy because there was parking right next to it which made it a breeze to go in and out. This spot is very popping, and has a grocery feel with lots of good to buy as well as packaged food goods they make there. We ordered a few sandwiches and an iced coffee to go and it was pretty fast, they even asked if we wanted it fresh now which was appreciated. Overall this place is great, I've yet to see better prices in Seattle. Only bummer to me is they prefer cash and have an extra charge for credit cards and I prefer not to use cash. Banh mi: 8/10. Great for the price, my dad remarked the bread was very good on his first bite. Viet iced coffee - 7/10. Good just very strong (should be what u expect I'm just a wimp with coffee), very classic and well made viet iced coffee

Came here to try their banh mi. We ordered 2 different pork banh mi. Overall they both tasted good and were around $6. I would come back here if I in the area.
